Disturbing and necessary: What tourists who visit Post-Apartheid South Africa won’t see. Yet it must be seen, and action must be taken. The artist, not just locally known puts the finger wher it hurts. After all, he is the father of a family including two kids and fragile grand-parents – he can’t just “move away” to more peaceful suburb of what international travellers perceive as a “Gift from God,”, not far away from paradise. This is the Cape Town on the other side of Table Mountain. Open your eyes, wtach and listen. His musical approach is one more – if not thebest – to claim change. In the name of the kids who deserve better. Hanover Park has never been on the agenda, no matter whether Madiba was around or whoever took over since.
