Here is my 2019 summarized through one second of video every day.
When the year first started, I heard Shawn Bolz share that he felt like God was saying 2019 would be a year of “transition.” At the time I didn’t think much of it–every year involves transition to some extent–but after just a few months I quickly realized how ridiculously true that word was. The amount of transition I’ve observed and walked through this year has been unprecedented, both in my life and in the lives of those around me. (I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed so many marriages, babies being born to first-time parents, career changes, shifts in leadership, or moves to new homes take place in a single year in my entire life!)
There are a lot of little things I could mention, but the majority of my own transitions took place in the area of church and work. So many changes occurred in these two spheres. And if you’ve walked with me at all through the past year, you might even be able to identify some of these components and events in the video. 😉
I’ve learned a lot, and have been reminded how much there still is to learn. This year has lended itself to a massive amount of introspection, self-analysis, and personal development. God has been so gracious to Father me through the transitions and teach me along the way.
God is good at writing our stories, and He’s faithful to complete the work He starts in our lives.
