Our Twenty-Nineteen

WHAT A YEAR, Y’ALL! We’re all a year older, and the faithfulness of God continues to burn deeper in my life. I got my very first tattoo to forever physically have the reminder of His faithfulness written upon me.

2019 started with two very important weddings for my brother-in-law and one of my dearest friends. We were on the road A LOT going back and forth between TX and TN.

We BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOME!

We went on many adventures around our new city, and went to North Carolina a few times for a number of different celebrations.

I visited my Tio and Tia in Denver with some of my family.

In September I was offered a short-term job at my parents church in Knoxville and right after that asked to go to Africa in the following weeks. More unexpected and incredible travels.

Jacob and I continued to drive back and forth between our new home and Knoxville every week for my job and we fell in love with the people at The Gathering.

Holy Spirit downloaded deeper revelations of the importance of ministering to the heart of God. My life was totally wrecked by this message as I heard Trina Fitzsimmons Parker impart the mysteries of ministry to God while equipping pastors in Uganda and South Africa to plant Houses of Prayer right where they are.

We traveled back to TX two more times for work and time with family and friends.

We celebrated four years of marriage at our favorite restaurant in North Carolina (The Corner Kitchen), hosted Thanksgiving for the first time ever in our new home and Jacob smoked a DELICIOUS ham!

My sisters, mom, and I threw Ashton a baby shower to celebrate the approaching arrival of sweet Alaina!

The week of Christmas we stayed home and just enjoyed being together.

The end of 2019 was spent with a small portion of our family at my parents house in Knoxville as we rang in the new year.

After a year like this, we know 2020 will hold more than we could ever ask or think. We are beyond GRATEFUL and EXPECTANT.

Our God is FAITHFUL in all things!

Happy New Year from the Brisky fam!
