A cold January day in Boston can be quite a challenge! Even a rainy and foggy day above 40 degrees is a day worth taking advantage of, so my daughter and I chose to drive to our local Wellington Station in Medford, MA and take the train into Boston’s beautiful and historic Back Bay. We ended up walking about 4 miles, and along the way, I shot some footage that I’m thankful I can share with you!

I filmed this with the intent of making it look and feel like you’re simply hanging out with us and tagging along. If you are from Boston, the sounds and visions in this video should keep you entertained and hopefully bring back some memories, but if you’ve never been to Boston and hope to visit someday, this video will offer you a minuscule slice of walking through Boston through the eyes and lens of my daughter and me.

I hope you’ll enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed producing it. I am a fan of Apple and iOS, but this film was shot on my new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus and I used Filmic Pro for Android. I edited the footage with Adobe Rush and used Epidemic Sound for my audio tracks. You’ll notice I removed most of the ambient audio and only included it when I felt it would add to the experience.
